| Working and treatment of
Naproxen – Anaprox |
If the drug Naproxen - Anaprox is taken as when it is needed and not
on a scheduled time regularly without the need arising, then you
should bear in mind that it is best to take them as the first signs
of pain occur because that is when they work best! In case the
intake has been delayed and the pain has worsened significantly then
the drugs may not work just as well as they would have earlier.
Naproxen - Anaprox is very much capable of interfering with the
gastrointestinal tract. Anaprox also cause the inhibition of the
excretion of lithium supplements similar to other NSAIDs. Strong
recommendations include the intake of this medicine with a full
glass of water unless your physician is guiding you otherwise.
Naproxen-Anaprox may interfere with the treatment of other drugs;
tests have shown that the drug causes increased levels of blood
lithium by inducing the kidneys to stop excreting them.
The preparations of Naproxen include sodium; which is not
recommended for patients with sodium-sensitive hypertension to use.
Tests have shown adverse effects, potentially, on the blood pressure
of a small set of hypertensive patients. Tests have also shown that
the intake of this drug may also cause low blood pressure and in
turn causing the blood pressure medicines to stop having any effect.
After taking this drug is has been recommended that the person
taking it should not lie down, at least not for 30 minutes. Tests
have also shown that women taking the NSAIDs including Naproxen have
a risk of causing the unborn child congenital defects particularly
heart problems.
